The overlooking trees
Dance in the breeze
Guarding the ground
Without a sound
They have held tree houses for brothers
They have hidden secret lovers
Their leaves decorate the sky
Their beauty lasts even as they die
Providing shelter from the rain
Not a single one is plain
Complex levels of branches and leaves
Some even birth flowers for the bees
Their simple elegance will always last
Even when our time has passed
